CTAMFT understands that working with commercial insurances can be frustrating and we want to support you with the issues that you are facing. Part of this is having data regarding your issues, both resolved and ongoing to be able to present to legislators.
Please answer the questions at the link below so that we can have a record of issues that have occurred regarding your relationship with commercial insurances. The more data we have, the better, so feel free to complete it multiple times if you have multiple incidents with the same and/or different companies.
If your issue is not currently resolved, please continue to keep us updated as your case progresses through the Insurance Commissioner's Office and/or any other support network.
As a reminder, per your contracts with commercial insurance companies, you are not allowed to share your current reimbursement rates with anyone so please do not share your specific contracted rates. Instead, please speak in percentages (e.g. Insurance Company X reimburses at 30% less for relational therapy sessions than individual therapy sessions, or Insurance Company Y has reduced reimbursement rates for X service by 10%).
