CALL TO ACTION to submit testimony for SB 10: An Act Concerning Health Insurance and Patient Protections
CTAMFT is asking all MFTs to submit testimony in support of SB 10 for the Insurance and Real Estate Committee public hearing being held on Thursday 3/6/2025 at 10 am.
This bill is seeking Mental Health Parity enforcement for non compliance of insurance carriers. As Mental Health Professionals, we know all too well the disparity in mental health coverage by insurance carriers and the negative impacts that brings for us and our patients. This bill was developed in collaboration with CT Parity Coalition, other mental health provider organizations and mental health advocates. We need a big showing on this bill to show the mandate for enforcement of Mental Health Parity. Feel free to share with any MFTs or other mental health professionals and patients.
