Nonviolence 365
Thursday, April 16th from 2:00 – 3:30pm
Join us on as Kelisha Graves, Chief Research, Education, and Programs Officer for the King Center, explores the Nonviolence365® Education and Training program. Grounded in the philosophy and methodology of Martin Luther King Jr., this session invites participants to examine Kingian Nonviolence as a practical “way of life” that extends beyond protest into everyday interactions within workplaces, schools, and communities. Through an overview of the Six Principles (the mindset) and Six Steps (the strategy), participants will learn how nonviolence can be applied to effectively address conflict, promote understanding, and create meaningful social change. Emphasis will be placed on fostering personal transformation, strengthening communication and conflict resolution skills, and advancing the vision of the Beloved Community by addressing systemic challenges such as racism, poverty, and militarism.
