BOARD OF DIRECTORS

OUR LEADERSHIP STRUCTURE

The IAMFT Board of Directors is composed of elected members who are in good standing with their dues and committed to advancing the profession of marriage and family therapy in Indiana. Board members are chosen annually by the IAMFT membership to carry out the governance responsibilities outlined in our bylaws.

These dedicated volunteers generously contribute their time, expertise, and energy to support the professional wellbeing of MFTs across the state. Most board positions are held for two-year terms, with the exception of the President-Elect, President, and Past President roles, which are served consecutively by the same individual over a six-year leadership cycle (two years in each role).

IAMFT also maintains five standing committees, each vital to the health and growth of our organization:

  • Conference & Education
  • Diversity & Inclusivity
  • Elections
  • Legislative & Advocacy
  • Membership

If you're interested in serving on the Board or a committee, we welcome your involvement. Please reach out to us at info@inamft.org to express your interest.

I am a graduate of the Indiana Wesleyan Marriage and Family Therapy Program and have been a member of IAMFT’s board since 2018. Currently I serve as the therapist at Loving Shepherd Ministries, which offers free therapeutic services to foster and adoptive families in our community.  Professional areas of interest are attachment, sexually maladaptive behavior, and the ways in which trauma impacts the developmental process. My board involvement is driven by a desire to see our profession continue to grow and provide the residents of Indiana quality therapeutic care. In my spare time I enjoy engaging in various physical fitness shenanigans, reading exciting novels, and hanging out with my wife and our children.

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, AAMFT Approved Supervisor, practice owner, and adjunct faculty at Indiana Wesleyan University, I am committed to advancing the profession of Marriage and Family Therapy. I am passionate about mentoring and training future MFTs to ensure they enter the field prepared and supported.
IAMFT provides invaluable opportunities for growth through education, collaboration, and collective advocacy. In a profession where private practice can feel isolating and agency work can drift toward a medical model, IAMFT fosters connection and reinforces systemic principles. I want to help sustain and strengthen this network of peers in Indiana, which is why I have chosen to serve our organization.

Bio to come...

Region Representative

Nenetzin A. Stoeckle

regionrep@inamft.org

I am an Associate Professor for IWU's MFT program.  I believe IAMFT is instrumental to the well-being of our profession in the State of Indiana.  I have previously served on the IAMFT Board through various roles (Member-at-Large, Treasurer, President-Elect, President, and Past President).  I see the need for strong engagement through our regions and seek to serve as a Region Representative.  It has been my experience that as MFTs, we are limited in time, but still need opportunities to connect and support one another.  As Region Representative for Central Indiana, I would help create opportunities for region members to connect.
