The Access MFTs plan starts with AAMFT’s model portability law. In a country facing a mental health crisis with a shortage of qualified providers, the model law recognizes we need ways to connect those in need with those who can provide care simply and effectively.
Over the next several years, AAMFT will work with MFTs across the country, as well as industry and community partners, to introduce this simple and effective approach to key decision-makers, empowering them to enable impactful change for their constituents.
