On Thursday, April 16th, Tennessee Governor Bill Lee signed House Bill 1909 into law. With this signature, Tennessee becomes the second state to pass Access MFTs legislation in 2026. The sections of HB 1909 pertaining to portability for MFTs will be enacted July 1, 2026.
