At the December public open session of the Maryland Board of Professional Counselors and Therapists, the Board voted to endorse the Access MFTs portability bill that will be introduced in the Maryland legislature this session. This endorsement received unanimous approval from all attending Board members. MFTs, staff, and government affairs representatives are actively collaborating with key stakeholders and legislators in all phase one Access MFTs states. The upcoming 2024 legislative sessions in most phase one states will begin in the next two weeks.
