Last month, lobbyists in Kentucky had the opportunity to testify before the Kentucky Senate Standing Committee on Licensing and Occupations about the Access MFTs initiative. This represents and important first step in the process in Kentucky that must happen before introducing legislative language. At the hearing, the Committee Chair, Senator John Schickel expressed interest in the Access MFTs effort and requested a copy of the draft bill. AAMFT and its partners in Kentucky have drafted bill language that should be finalized in the coming weeks.
