About Us

As a geographic interest network of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy, the New Hampshire Association of Marriage and Family Therapy's mission is to cultivate engagement and organization among marriage and family therapists and allied mental health professionals; offer regular, quality trainings in systems models and other topics relevant to the practice of marriage and family therapy; maintain mentoring meetings to guide early career MFTs and networking and social events for MFTs; and support advocacy both for the marriage and family therapy profession and for issues of importance to MFTs and their clients within the state of New Hampshire.
