Artificial Intelligence (AI) has already improved our lives in many different ways - automated teller machines, google maps, etc. There are some things that AI will never be able to replace well, such as the genuine human connection that is such an important part of healing in psychotherapy. However, there are many emerging technologies from the field of AI that can be quite therapeutic. Rather than fear these technologies, we should investigate and embrace them when appropriate into our practice. Join us for an afternoon to look at how we can improve the lives of our clients and make our jobs as therapists even more effective with AI.
Learning Objectives:
Review literature on Artificial Intelligence (AI) and it's application in psychotherapy
Discuss impacts AI could have on the field
Learn ways to utilize these technologies clinically
