2026 Research Conference

Join us for a dynamic conference that bridges the gap between research and real-world impact. This year’s event will spotlight innovative approaches to community-engaged scholarship, translational research, and policy-relevant work. Important to the current context, we will highlight clinical research relevant to the Arizona community. Attendees will explore how to communicate research effectively—whether through social media, journalism, policy engagement, or public partnerships—and gain tools to expand their reach across disciplines and borders. With dedicated tracks for students and methodological training, this conference is designed to empower diverse voices and foster meaningful change.

  1. The Science and Practice of Teaching Systemic Family Therapy Research: Submissions may include advances and unique research instruction strategies, keeping up to date on new systemic methods and analyses, approaches to training, grant and policy writing, etc.

  1. Translating Research and Partnering with Stakeholders: Submissions may include methods for translating research to a variety of stakeholders, building community partnerships (community-engaged methodologies), and designing a translational research trajectory in the current climate.

  1. Building and Sustaining Effectiveness and Outcome Research: Submissions may include research on cutting-edge systemic therapy interventions, clinical research in systemic therapy, moving from basic research to real-world interventions, and translating findings in the current climate.

  1. Student/New Professional Track: Submission may include topics relevant to students and new professionals building research trajectories.
