Using Expressive Arts with Families and Couples

Join us for a creative therapeutic experience; 

Our speaker will facilitate a hands-on expressive art activity that could be used in a therapeutic setting with a family or couple. Participants will gain an ethical understanding of the use of expressive arts, how and when to use expressive arts to explore relational dynamics with a family or couple, and how to clarify treatment goals and objectives. 

Jennifer Wilson has worked 22 years with at-risk youth and families. She has worked 12 years through the Department of Mental Health and the last 10 years at Richland County Two's Family Intervention Services Program. Her current clinical interests include somatic experiencing, attachment work with muliti-generational trauma, cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness skills, and expressive arts.
