Annual Conference: Intervention Research in Systemic Family Therapy

Announcing the first annual research conference of the Intervention Research in Systemic Family Therapy TIN! This conference will provide attendees an opportunity to learn about contemporary intervention research in systemic family therapy, discuss current projects, and directions for future work. The conference will be held over zoom with a variety of session formats (keynote, roundtable, and panel presentations), with featured keynote address by Dr. Sandi Stith. The annual conference will provide a place for researchers, post-docs, and graduate students to present their empirical work, learn from others in the field, network, and enhance their research skills.

The agenda for the conference is as follows: 

10:00-10:15am                     Welcome by TIN Leader, Dr. Adrian Blow

10:15-11:30am                      Keynote by Dr. Sandi Stith “Developing a Career Based on Intervention Research in Couple and Family Therapy”

11:45am-12:45pm                 Research Roundtable 1 – Attendee Research Poster Presentations

1:00-2:30pm                         Panel Discussion “Lessons Learned from editing the SFT Handbook” (Panelists: Drs. Blow, McWey, Miller; Moderator: Dr. Pratt)

2:30-3:30pm                        Research Roundtable 2 – Attendee Research Poster Presentations

3:30-4:00pm                        Wrap-up with TIN Leadership
