Dr. Brue intend to explore the divergent variables that impact the longevity and satisfaction of a career as a heath care professional.  Areas such as self-care, calling/ mission, setting, and theoretical orientation will be discussed.

"Good Therapy is Ethical Therapy: Common Factors and Other Practices Impacting the Ethical Delivery of Effective Services"
Dr. Brue will discuss the link between therapy done well and therapy done ethically.  The management of ethical standards will be viewed through the lens of theoretical and practical aspects of sound and competent practice.  Several common factors will be reviewed as a way to assure professional conduct in clinical settings. 

 

"Executive Director State Board of Behavioral Health Licensure Ethics Discussion"
The Executive Director State Board of Behavioral Health Licensure will discuss the current state and future direction of the licensure board of behavioral health. Eric Ashmore address issues concerned with maintain ethical standards in the state of Oklahoma during Covid.

 

"Panel Discussion and Q and A"
There will be a panel discussion to assist students and new professionals in their journey to become professional in the field of Marital and Family Therapy. The panel will have a range of clinician from student members to licensed clinician with 30 plus years of experience. This panel will speak on their personal and professional experience working in the field and answer questions from attendees.

There will be 3 hours of general CEU and 3 hours of ethic CEU offered
