Join us in-person at the NYMFTN State Annual Conference, a premier event designed to bring together marriage and family therapists from across the state. This year’s theme focuses on advancing the profession through collaboration and shared wisdom. We are honored to have Diane Gehart, Ph.D. as our keynote speaker, presenting her thought-provoking keynote titled "Unifying Framework for Family Therapists."  Dr. Gehart will delve into her innovative Unifying Framework, which empowers family therapists to blend various therapeutic methods into cohesive, impactful treatment strategies. Her approach emphasizes the importance of unity in theory and practice, offering new ways to navigate the complexities of family dynamics and achieve lasting results for clients.

Following lunch, Dr. Gehart will meet with students to discuss strategies for taking the National MFT exam!!

This conference is a unique opportunity to network with peers, gain practical insights, and learn from one of the leading voices in the field. Whether you're a seasoned therapist or just starting your journey, this event promises to inspire, equip, and transform the way you approach your work.  New York State LMFTs can obtain 4 CEU credits for participation in the conference.

Registration and a light breakfast will begin at 9am.  Lunch is also included. 

Free parking is available for conference participants at the Manhattan University Broadway Parking Garage (entrance on Manhattan College Pkwy)

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations to any paid event and any subsequent request for refund must be made in writing no later than 15 days prior to the start of the event. Upon cancellation you have the right to request that your fee (in full) be held (for up to one year) and used toward another event registration from this same AAMFT Network. If you prefer a refund, cancellations made more than 45 days before the event will receive a 75% refund. Cancellations made between 44 and 15 days before the event will receive a 50% refund. No refunds will be offered within 14 days of the event.
