Description

About The Training

The AAMFT strives to honor the public trust in marriage and family therapists by setting standards for ethical practice as described in the Code of Ethics. The ethical standards define professional expectations.

In 1962, the AAMFT adopted the Association's first Code of Ethics. It is reviewed and revised on an ongoing basis in an attempt to address evolving standards of practice, and new and emerging issues.

The Idaho Licensing Board of Professional Counselors and Marriage and Family Therapists rules specify that 6 hours of continuing education in ethics is required every 2 years.

Being informed and mindful of the laws, rules, and ethics of our profession is central to our work. This one-hour class will focus in on some elements and considerations for ethical practice.

If you have specific areas that you would like to have discussed, please email: robertacrockett@mac.com

NOTE: Use the paid registration ONLY if you want CE credit for this event. Otherwise, email event contact to RSVP.
