Neuronutrition is an evolving multidisciplinary field that incorporates methodologies from established fields such as nutrition, neurology, and neuroscience. Research in neuronutrition can help improve our understanding of how nutrition and diet influence the development and trajectory of neurological, psychiatric, and other conditions. Further, the application of neuronutrition findings has the potential to improve the assessment and treatment of clients with these conditions. As such, professionals are strongly encouraged to seek out and obtain advanced education and training in neuronutrition. This training provides an overview of neuronutrition, benefits of a neuronutrition-informed approach, and different populations addressed by neuronutrition research. Empirically based research findings will be highlighted throughout this training.
