On March 17th, Nevada took a significant step toward advancing licensure portability for MFTs with the introduction of Assembly Bill 450. Sponsored by Assemblymember Elaine Marzola, the bill was referred to the Assembly Committee on Commerce and Labor for consideration.
We are grateful to Assemblymember Marzola for championing this important legislation and for recognizing the value of removing barriers to practice across state lines.
AAMFT will continue working with Nevada stakeholders and lawmakers to support the bill as it progresses.
