Service, Advocacy, and Public Participation in Behavioral Health

This live webinar is being led by Melissa Baker, MS, LMFT, Clinical Director of the Glendale Healthcare Center of JFCS and Owner of Baker Family Therapy Services 

This program will show how various policies affect our work as therapists, outline types of therapeutic activism - including personal and ethical considerations for advocacy activities, and provide examples of how to support the broader profession

Attendees of all experience levels are invited and will:

1) Understand how advocacy is included in behavioral health codes of ethics

2) Describe four common forms of advocacy on a continuum

3) Explore personal passions or outrages to identify potential areas of advocacy 

This training is listed in ARIZONA TIME and registrants are responsible for converting to their own individual time zone. Refunds will not be given due to attendees not being aware of time zone conflicts.
