Best Practices: Everything AZ MFTs Need To Know

When:  Feb 19, 2026 from 04:30 PM to 06:00 PM (MT)
Associated with  AAMFT Arizona

This is a live virtual training and will be led by Tobi Zavala BSW, Executive Director of the AZBBHE

This training offers Arizona Marriage and Family Therapists (MFTs) a focused look at current ethical expectations, common challenges, and emerging trends identified by the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners. Led by the Board’s Executive Director, the session reviews how the number of licensed MFTs in Arizona has shifted over time compared to other behavioral health disciplines and examines the percentage and types of complaints received against MFTs. Participants will learn about the most frequent ethical concerns arising in relational work, including themes unique to couples and family treatment, and explore practical strategies the Board recommends to prevent violations. The training will provide brief guidance on CEU topics that best support ethical decision making, clinical growth, and long-term compliance for Arizona MFTs.

**This training is only approved for Arizona based licensees and AIN can't guarantee this training will qualify for CEUs in other states.

This training is listed in ARIZONA TIME and registrants are responsible for converting to their own individual time zone. Additionally, AIN events are not recorded or available for anyone to watch outside of the live session time. Refunds will not be given for any reason.
