Michele M. Sullivan
Michele Sullivan, Treasurer of WAMFT starting January 2020, is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a private practice in Westlake, Seattle. She began her career as a registered counselor providing individual and group chemical dependency treatment for judicial programs, but deepened her clinical skills by entering Seattle Pacific University's (SPU) Marriage and Family Therapy Program (M.S.) in 2005. Michele worked in community mental health and substance abuse treatment until 2016, when she shifted to full-time private practice in the communities of Duvall & Monroe, WA. While she remains deeply rooted in narrative practices developed by Johnella Bird, Michael White, David Epston, and Barbara Myerhoff, Michele's theoretical orientation continues to expand as she loves to learn. For example, she is currently working on EDMR Certification through EMDRIA. Michele's passions include SCUBA diving, skiing, swimming, and travel.
